JSM have been working on a long term project with our client on a range of stylised character dinosaurs for various locations. To achieve the complex and specific scale pattern across the skin of the characters we developed a number of new techniques, the master models were then moulded in silicon and cast out using fibreglass, with a final spray finish to bring them to life.

We recently produced a range of robot models based on the designs of students at Oxford Cheney School, these included small 400mmtall robots and scaled up 1800mm tall fibreglass versions.

We recently produced a range of large Dragon fly models in fibreglass based on the designs submitted by students of Cheney School/Museum Oxford. Through a blend of spray painting techniques and hand painting our studio produced a large number of robust fibreglass models for interaction with the students as a permanent installation.

Our 6 Axis robot cell can machine a wide variety of materials from your CAD data enabling us to create large scale models in a very short timescale.

Created using a number of different techniques including modelling in plastiline and rigid foam, JSM recently brought to life The Gruffalo, along with Zog the Dragon and other characters from Julia Donaldsons beloved books.
